Skopje, 18 December 2024 (MIA) – The rapid deployment unit and the unit for illegal trafficking of the Skopje police department conducted early Wednesday morning a police operation and uncovered weapons on the local road between the villages of Orlanci and Nikushtak.

Police said that a machine gun, nine automatic rifles, several empty magazines for automatic rifles, a belt for a light machine gun, two loaded magazines for automatic rifles, a jar of ammunition, a backpack and other items have been found during the operation.

The uncovered weapons have been handed over to the department of forensics examinations for analysis, and actions are underway to investigate the case.
