Skopje, 4 November 2023 (MIA) - Minister of Interior Oliver Spasovski told Monday's press conference at the Public Prosecutor's Office that according to information and statements of the suspects, Vanja has been abducted in the entrance of her apartment building and stuffed in a sleeping bag in the trunk of a "Citroen" vehicle with her hands and feet tied. She was then taken outside of Skopje where she was killed, after which the vehicle has been set on fire.   

According to Spasovski, the "Citroen" vehicle, owned by the murdered man from Veles, first appeared on the "Safe City" cameras on November 27, when Vanja was abducted.  

A "Renault Cangoo" vehicle was seen parked in front of the "Citroen" vehicle that was used to abduct Vanja. After Vanja was abducted, the two vehicles drove outside of Skopje. 

Speaking at the press conference, Spasovski also said that all the suspects are members of a political party, adding that a search of the party has been carried out. 

Spasovski denied reports that the police knew, but failed to reveal details about Vanja's disappearance, due to the OSCE summit.
