Skopje, 12 July 2022 (MIA) – Absolutely no one in this country can nor is allowed to negotiate about the identity or the Macedonian language. Neither the current government nor any other future government, said Minister of Internal Affairs Oliver Spasovski in a Facebook post. “This should be clear to us all. And we absolutely have to protect the identity, language, culture and the uniqueness of the Macedonian people at all costs; there will be no negotiations with anyone, even if it’s the EU, as long as they concern our language or our identity. That’s not something you negotiate and it cannot be negotiated at any point in the future,” noted Spasovski in the post. ad/ba/
