Sofka Pejovska Dojchnovska elected as new vice-president of Anti-Corruption Commission 

Skopje, 4 August 2023 (MIA) – The State Commission for the Prevention of Corruption at its 90th session on Friday elected Sofka Pejovska Dojchnovska as the new vice-president.

Pejovska Dojchnvska is replacing Katica Nikolovska, whom the members of the State Commission for the Prevention of Corruption thanked her for performing her duties.

“The oldest member, who has been working since the first day of the establishment of the State Commission for the Prevention of Corruption, is proposed as the next vice-president,” said the president of the Anti-Corruption Commission, Biljana Ivanovska, before the vote.

The proposed amendments and supplements to the National Strategy for the Prevention of Corruption and Conflict of Interest 2021-2025 were voted during the online session held via Zoom.

The members of the Anti-Corruption Commission act on specific cases, as well as on cases formed following reports from whistleblowers, in accordance with the Law on Whistle-Blower Protection.
