Siljanovska Davkova - Cvijanović: Cooperation and EU accession progress key for Western Balkans stability and prosperity

Skopje, 8 October 2024 (MIA) – Advancing regional cooperation to address challenges and a progress of the EU accession process of the Western Balkan countries is of key importance for stability and prosperity of the region, concluded President Gordana Siljanovska Davkova and Željka Cvijanović, member of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina, in a meeting on Tuesday.

Their meeting took place in Tivat as part of the meeting of the Brdo-Brijuni process leaders.

President Siljanovska Davkova extended the Macedonian support for the European and Euro-Atlantic aspirations of Bosnia and Herzegovina saying her country is prepared to share experiences with BiH, the President’s Office said. 

In the meeting, the excellent friendly relations and cooperation between the two countries were praised, which are characterized by mutual support and respect and an interest was shown to further improve the political dialogue and enhance bilateral cooperation in all spheres, primarily in economy.

President Siljanovska Davkova extended condolences over last week’s deadly floods in Bosnia and Herzegovina and wished speedy recovery of the injured, said the press release.
