SEC: 34.87% voter turnout by 3 pm

Skopje, 22 May 2024 (MIA) - The State Election Commission (SEC) said Wednesday that voter turnout at seven polling stations for the 2024 parliamentary rerun stands at 34.87% until 3 pm.

Out of the total of 4.514 registered voters, 1.574 have cast their votes. Compared to the voting on May 8, this revote shows an increased turnout of 1.21 percent at these polling stations.

The highest turnout is recorded at the polling station in Zhelino, with 428 voters casting their votes, constituting 43.10 percent. Meanwhile, the lowest turnout is registered in Krushevo at polling station 1202, where, by 3 pm, only 67 voters have voted, accounting for 22.48 percent.

“At the polling station 2101 in Zhelino, 428 voters voted, representing a 43.10 percent turnout. At the 1194 polling station in Krusevho, 197 voters or 42 percent. At the 1202 polling station in Krushevo, 67 voters or 22.48 percent voted. At the polling station 1272 in Ohrid 226 voters or 31.79 percent voted. At the polling stations 1470 in Dolneni 173 voters or 26.29 percent voted. At the polling station 1470/1 in Dolneni 184 voters or 29.11 percent voted. In Struga, at polling station 1844 the turnout is 39.71 percent with 299 voters having cast their votes,” SEC said in a press release.
