Skopje, 20 January 2023 (MIA) – The competent public prosecutor submitted a proposal to the preliminary proceedings judge in the Basic Court in Ohrid requesting determination of detention measure for a 24-year-old person from Ohrid, suspected of a crime of inflicting grievous bodily harm to Hristijan Pendikov, secretary of the Bulgarian club “Tsar Boris III” in Ohrid.

The Basic Public Prosecutor’s Office Ohrid issued an order to conduct an investigative procedure against the suspect.

“On January 19, the suspect approached a table where a person was sitting in a coffee bar in Ohrid, insulted him and hit him on the head. A few hours later, when the victim left the coffee bar and was walking towards his vehicle, the suspect, together with two other unknown persons, intercepted him and physically assaulted him, hitting him on the head and body and causing him serious, life-threatening injuries,” the Public Prosecutor’s Office said.
