Polish national wanted by Interpol caught in attempt to pass border using fake ID
Skopje, 30 October 2023 (MIA) - A Polish national wanted by Interpol attempted to pass the Bogorodica border crossing with Greece by using a fake ID, the Ministry of Interior said on Monday.
On October 26, the suspect, who was a passenger in a bus with Greek register plates, used a fake Polish ID. Upon further control, it was established that the suspect is wanted by Interpol Warsaw for robbery and fraud.
The Gevgelija prosecutor's office has charged the Polish national with crime "falsifying a document" and issued a detention order.
