Skopje, 25 March 2022 (MIA) – Over 20 people were detained Friday in a nationwide police operation against distribution of narcotics, street dealing and illicit arms trafficking. Homes and other premises at over 20 locations nationwide were searched (Tetovo, Gevgelija, Kichevo, Skopje, Kumanovo, Strumica, Shtip, Struga, Probishtip, Berovo, Sveti Nikole, Bitola, Gostivar, Negotino, Kavadarci), resulting in the seizure of large quantities of marijuana, cannabis, heroin, amphetamines, cash and ammunition, the Ministry of Interior wrote in a Facebook post. In addition, an improvised cannabis production lab was found at the territory of Gevgelija.
