Skopje, 12 September 2022 (MIA) - President Stevo Pendarovski met Monday with the President of Albania, Bajram Begaj at the sidelines of the 11th meeting of the Brdo-Brijuni Process leaders. Pendarovski congratulated Begaj on being elected as president wishing him successful term and voicing hopes that the two countries will continue improving good neighborly relations. "The two presidents shared views on current developments in the two countries after the official opening of accession negotiations with the EU and on the course and possible challenges in the negotiating process. In this context, the two interlocutors expressed preparedness to intensify cooperation and exchange experiences in the transformation process in the two societies and consistent implementation of European reforms in all vital areas," the President's office said in a press release.
