Skopje, 16 March 2023 (MIA) - The Parliament rejected Thursday the motion for expedited adoption of a law pardoning persons sentenced over the 27 April 2017 events in the Parliament, submitted by the VMRO-DPMNE MPs, at the initiative of lawyers Janaki Mitrevski and Dragan Peshevski.
At its 106th session, the Parliament adopted a motion for expedited adoption of a law on pardoning over violations of restrictions during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Lawmakers also endorsed a decision on deployment of an Army member in EU-led operation "Althea" in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
In addition, Remzi Mehmeti has been verified as a new MP after Surija Rashidi of the Alliance of Albanians resigned due to his appointment as director of Electricity Transmission System Operator of North Macedonia (MEPSO).
