Parliament passes laws on borrowing from international institutions
- Lawmakers passed Tuesday the draft-law on borrowing from the OPEC Fund for International Development in the amount of EUR 50 million.
Skopje, 12 December 2023 (MIA) - Lawmakers passed Tuesday the draft-law on borrowing from the OPEC Fund for International Development in the amount of EUR 50 million.
The loan is to be repayed in ten years, including a two-year grace period. The rate is a six-month Euribor increased by 1.7 percent.
MPs also passed draft-laws on borrowing from the KfW bank and EU's Macro-financial assistance (MFA).
The KfW loan amounts to EUR 90 million, with a repayment period of 12 years, including a three-year grace period, whereas the MFA loan is worth EUR 100 million.
