Skopje, 18 December 2024 (MIA) - One person passed away while another was hospitalized after a fire broke out in a house in Skopje early on Wednesday.

During the fire extinguishing efforts, firefighters found the 71-year-old house owner already deceased, while his wife (68) was hospitalized in the Skopje-based clinical complex "Mother Teresa" with suffocation symptoms, the Ministry of Interior said in a press release.

The fire was put out and investigation is underway.
