Zürich, 6 April 2023 (MIA) – The Macedonian national football team maintains the 65th place in the latest FIFA world ranking released on Thursday. 

The national team defeated Malta and the Faroe Islands in March, but that was not enough to move up the FIFA world ranking table.  

Of North Macedonia's rivals at the Euro 2024 qualifiers, England ranks 5th, Italy ranks 8th, Ukraine ranks 30th, and Malta ranks 172nd. 

Argentina has claimed the top spot in the latest FIFA ranking, followed by France and Brazil as the best international football teams.
