The award was presented by EU Ambassador Michalis Rokas.

“We mark the European Day of Languages with the Babylon Award in order to celebrate Europe’s linguistic diversity and rich cultural heritage. The Macedonian language and all other languages spoken in this country are an integral part of this heritage,” said Ambassador Rokas at the event.

The BABYLON Award aims to support young translators in North Macedonia and emphasize the importance of quality in literary translations.
