Skopje, 21 November 2024 (MIA) - Minister of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade Timcho Mucunski met Thursday with Resident Representative of the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), Armen Grigoryan. 

Minister Mucunski reaffirmed the Government's commitment as a partner of the United Nations, noting that efforts are aimed at fully achieving the Sustainable Development Goals and implementing the 2030 Agenda, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade said in a press release. 

In addition, he expressed gratitude for UNDP's past and future cooperation with national institutions, highlighting the beginning of the preparation of the new Sustainable Development Cooperation Framework (UNSDCF) for the 2026-2030 period.

Interlocutors noted key UNDP initiatives and activities, including future projects that will emerge from the new Framework. The discussion focused on topics such as the strengthening of institutions, decentralization, local development, youth support, social inclusion, gender equality and the environment, which remain high on the cooperation agenda.
