Skopje, 10 October 2024 (MIA) -- Prime Minister Hristijan Mickoski at the third Ukraine-South East Europe summit held in Dubronik, Croatia, met with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.

"I had a meeting with the President of Ukraine, Володимир Зеленський," PM Mickoski wrote in a Facebook post. "I expressed my support and striving to achieve the goal of lasting peace."

The Macedonian delegation included Minister of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade Timcho Mucunski.

Croatian PM Andrej Plenkovic opened the Dubrovnik summit.

The first Ukraine-South East Europe summit was held in August 2022 in Athens, Greece, and the second was held in February 2024 in Tirana, Albania.

The main objective of the summit is to show solidarity and give support to Ukraine. mr/
