Skopje, 20 September 2024 (MIA) - The 23rd annual conference of the Macedonian Stock Exchange will take place in Ohrid on September 20-21.

The conference brings together representatives of the financial sector, including banks, investment and pension funds, brokers associations, regulators, academia, media etc.

Finance Minister Gordana Dimitrieska Kochoska, Securities and Exchange Commission chairwoman Nora Aliti and Macedonian Stock Exchange CEO Ivan Shteriev are set to deliver the opening remarks.

The conference agenda will focus on the role of domestic institutional investors, regional developments on the capital markets in Southeast Europe, future trends at global markets, the legislative framework for the Macedonian capital market, strategies for family endowment, businesses and the stock exchange, as well as initiatives to support gender equality.
