Kostadinovska-Stojchevska: Resolution submitted to U.S. Senate a result of approach of Macedonians all over the world

Skopje, 1 August 2023 (MIA) - A resolution has been submitted to the United States Senate on celebrating the Macedonian language, history, and culture. Minister of Culture Bisera Kostadinovska-Stojchevska says it is a pride to know that Macedonian language, culture and history are recognized and promoted all over the world.
"The resolution submitted by Republican Senator Mike Braun on designating September 2023 as “Macedonian American Heritage Month” is a huge honor and recognition for the contribution of Macedonian Americans to the development of the multicultural society of the United States," Kostadinovska-Stojchevska posted on Facebook.
According to the Minister, this is the result of the approach of Macedonians anywhere in the world to participate and be constructive builders of the countries they have chosen to build their home.
"Macedonian Americans have accepted the freedoms of American society and are integrated in the spheres of art, science, business, politics, medicine, sports and other fields as a result of the opportunities to be an equal part and participate in the realization of civil and religious freedoms, basic human rights in order to make their own contribution to the development of the community. Today, it is a model that their home country and homeland has also chosen as a society in which everyone deserves a chance," said Kostadinovska-Stojchevska.
