Kazakhstan delegation visits TIDZ Skopje: New impetus for economic cooperation, investments

Skopje, 21 April 2026 (MIA) - A high-level delegation from Kazakhstan, led by Minister of Trade and Integration Arman Shakkaliyev, paid Tuesday an official visit to the Technological Industrial Development Zone (TIDZ) Skopje, including the Johnson Matthey plant.

As part of the visit, the delegation held a working meeting with the Directorate for Technological-Industrial Development Zones (DTIDZ) CEO Goce Dimovski, discussing possibilities to boost economic cooperation, attract new investments and promote bilateral relations.
Dimovski said the visit represents a significant step towards deepening the economic ties between the two countries and building on the established cooperation since June last year, DTIDZ said in a press release.

He pointed out that DTIDZ remains committed to supporting investors and creating conditions for sustainable economic growth and new investments with high added value.
Minister Shakkaliyev expressed satisfaction with the opportunities offered by the country, noting that Kazakhstan sees serious potential for strengthening cooperation.
