Gov’t reviews M-NAV report on process for selection and training of candidates for air traffic controllers
Skopje, 15 November 2022 (MIA) – The Government at its session on Tuesday reviewed a report of M-NAV, the national service provider for air navigation, regarding the process for selection and training of candidates for air traffic controllers.   The session discussed activities carried out by M-NAV in the process of selection and training of candidates for air traffic controllers according the public ad, the Government said in a press release.   “M-NAV representatives said the procedure was carried out in accordance with legally established procedures, and the selected candidates, who are also M-NAV employees, have passed selection tests according to international standards, adding that their professional expertise can be seen in the fact that they can apply for a job in any other foreign country after passing the tests,” reads the press release.    Participants in the session also provided information about the publication of an ad and the selection of candidates for air traffic controllers, adding that a time plan has been drawn up and selection was carried out in cooperation with the economic operator from Denmark, by submitting a draft ranking list of most successful candidates, regarding a pre-selection test and FEAST testing (First European Air Traffic Controller Selection Test), where thirteen candidates had passed the FEAST II test and then the FEAST III test.   “Of those, eight candidates who had obtained a medical certificate, were given guidelines for employment and referral to schooling,” adds the press release.
