Skopje, 13 September 2022 (MIA) – Foreign Minister Bujar Osmani held on Tuesday a farewell meeting with the outgoing US Ambassador to North Macedonia Kate Marie Byrnes. The meeting took place on the 27th anniversary of establishing full diplomatic relations between North Macedonia and the USA, which was a great opportunity to welcome the many joint achievements over the years, with special focus on the partnership within the NATO and the recently held Strategic Dialogue between the two countries, Ministry of Foreign Affairs said in a press release. “Minister Osmani thanked Ambassador Byrnes for her active and continuous engagement in the direction of deepening bilateral relations between the two countries as well as for the consistent US support for the democratic development of North Macedonia and progress on the path of European integration,” reads the press release.
