Finance Minister Dimitrieska-Kochoska paying working visit to Brussels

Skopje, 7 November 2024 (MIA) - Minister of Finance Gordana Dimitrieska Kochoska is on a working visit to Brussels, where she is set to take part Thursday in a conference hosted by Friends of Europe. 

The conference will discuss the situation in the EU as well as policies to overcome current and future challenges.

EU enlargement is the topic of a panel discussion in which Minister Dimitrieska Kochoska will focus on the reforms that lie ahead for the country on the path to full-fledged EU membership, which are contained in the recently adopted Reform Agenda, highlighting the Government's firm commitment to reform implementation.

The conference is part of Friends of Europe's activities, which encourage debate among stakeholders - policymakers, the business community, civil society, with the aim of creating policies and processes that will contribute to a more inclusive, sustainable and progressive Europe.

In Brussels, the Minister of Finance will meet with top officials from the EC Directorate-General for Neighbourhood and Enlargement Negotiations, as well as with representatives from the European People's Party (EPP). nn/
