Deputy PM Bytyqi to meet with IMF, World Bank and U.S. Treasury officials in Washington

Skopje, 25 September 2023 (MIA) - Deputy PM for Economic Affairs Fatmir Bytyqi is set to hold a series of meetings on Monday and Tuesday as part of his visit to Washington. 

 

On Monday, Deputy PM Bytyqi will meet with International Monetary Fund (IMF) Executive Director Paul Hilbers, as well as with World Bank Executive Director Koen Davidse later in the day, the Government said in a press release. 

 

At the U.S. Department of the Treasury, Deputy PM Bytyqi will hold a meeting with Deputy Assistant Secretary for Europe and Eurasia, Brian McCauley, and with Deputy Director at the Office of Investment Security, Andrew Fair. 

 

Monday's agenda of the Deputy PM also includes a meeting with Assistant Secretary of State for Energy Resources at the U.S. Department of State, Geoffrey Pyatt.

 

On Tuesday, Bytyqi will meet with representatives of the American-Central European Business Association (ACEBA), as well as with David De Falco, Deputy Assistant Secretary for Europe and Eurasia at the U.S. Department of Commerce.
