Skopje, 29 June 2024 (MIA) - In a post on his official Facebook profile, Prime Minister Hristijan Mickoski wrote that the fight against corruption and organized crime is one of the top priorities of the new Government.
He said he met Saturday with Interior Minister Panche Toshkovski in order “to address this significant topic”.
“During a week when we are promoting new foreign and domestic investments, we aren’t forgetting the key segment of our agenda – the fight against corruption. Crime is a cancer wound in our society and one of the main reasons why the state was taken away from the people. I am sending a clear message: no one is above the people, the law and the Constitution. There will be accountability for crime because it destroys our shared future. Names and last names must be held accountable regardless of the individual’s background. The time for justice is coming. That’s the only way for the state to do more for the people,” Prime Minister Mickoski wrote in his post on Facebook.
