Skopje, 22 May 2024 (MIA) - Customs agents at the Skopje International Airport have thwarted the entry into the country of 1.7 tons of Sildenafil Citrate USP and Sibutramine, which are harmful for the health of the citizens, the Customs Administration said on Wednesday.

The medicines have not been registered at the country’s Agency for Medicines and Medical Devices, and the importer did not have a license for the wholesale of medication.

Criminal charges will be filed against the importing company at the Basic Public Prosecutor’s Office, the Customs Administration said.
