Skopje, 12 August 2022 (MIA) - North Macedonia on Friday reported 619 new COVID-19 infections, including 127 reinfections, and 803 recoveries, the Health Ministry said adding that a total of 1,253 tests were conducted in the past 24 hours. Out of the new cases, Skopje registered 265. No deaths were reported in the past 24 hours. According to the e-registry of Covid-related deaths, four people, aged 94, 80, 84 and 72, died in the period from July 30 to August 3, said the press release. At the moment, 3,905 cases are active nationwide, including 1,560 in the capital Skopje. Since the onset of the epidemic, North Macedonia has performed a total of 2,134,298 tests, recording 334,542 COVID-19 cases and 321,243 recoveries. The death toll has reached 9,414.
