COVID-19: 410 new cases, 290 patients recover, 10 die
Skopje, 1 December 2021 (MIA) – North Macedonia registered 410 new COVID-19 infections after 2,674 tests were conducted in labs across the country in the past 24 hours. In the same period, 10 deaths and 290 recoveries were reported, the Ministry of Health said on Monday. Of the new cases, 185 were registered in Skopje, followed by Bitola – 31, Prilep – 22, Ohrid – 15, Strumica – 15, Veles – 14, Kavadarci – 14, Shtip – 14, Kumanovo – 13, Tetovo – 10, Kochani – 10, Delchevo – 8, Kriva Palanka – 6, Probishtip – 6, Radovish – 5, Valandovo – 5, Demir Hisar – 5, Berovo – 4, Kratovo – 4, Krushevo – 4, Negotino – 3, Gevgelija – 2, Sveti Nikole – 2, Resen – 2, Vinica – 2, Makedonski Brod – 2, Makedonska Kamenica – 2, Gostivar – 1, Struga – 1, Bogdanci – 1, Pehchevo – 1 and Dojran – 1. Ten deaths were registered in the past 24 hours, including six in Skopje (aged 62, 69, 70, 75, 80 and 94), one in Prilep (88), one in Ohrid (58), one in Veles (57) and one in Tetovo (50). One more death was recorded from the My Appointment e-service, dated Nov. 27. At the moment, 8,110 cases are active nationwide. Since the onset of the epidemic, North Macedonia has performed a total of 1,474,094 tests, recording 215,995 COVID-19 cases and 200,293 recoveries. The death toll has reached 7,592.
