COVID-19: 172 new cases, 381 patients recover, 9 die
Skopje, 15 November 2021 (MIA) – North Macedonia registered 172 new COVID-19 infections after 1,483 tests were conducted in labs across the country in the past 24 hours. In the same time period, nine deaths and 381 recoveries were registered, the Ministry of Health said on Monday. Of the new cases, 107 were registered in Skopje, followed by Ohrid-11, Bitola-8, Kavadarci and Shtip-6 each, Veles and Struga-5 each, Strumica-4, Sveti Nikole and Kratovo-3 each, Prilep, Kriva Palanka, Delchevo and Probishtip-2 each, Kumanovo, Kochani, Negotino, Resen, Bogdanci and Demir Kapija-1 each. Of the nine fatalities, four were registered in Skopje (aged 61, 71, 72 and 75) and one each in Bitola (65), Berovo (63), Struga (85), Strumica (65) and Makedonska Kamenica (76). At the moment, 8,331 cases are active nationwide. Since the onset of the epidemic, North Macedonia has performed a total of 1,430,424 tests, recording 209,449 COVID-19 cases and 193,781 recoveries. The death toll has reached 7,337.
