COVID-19: 142 new cases, 105 recoveries, 4 die
Skopje, 10 April 2022 (MIA) – North Macedonia registered 142 new COVID-19 infections after 2,046 tests were conducted in the past 24 hours, and 105 people recovered and four people died, the Health Ministry said on Sunday.
Of the new cases, 79 were registered in Skopje, followed by Bitola – 26, Prilep – 7, Ohrid – 7, Kavadarci – 4, Veles – 4, Kichevo – 4, Kumanovo – 3, Gostivar – 2, Kochani – 2, Tetovo – 1, Shtip – 1, Gevgelija – 1 and Sveti Nikole – 1.
In addition, 28 of the total number of new cases (142) are re-infections.
Of the four patients who died, two aged 64 and 85 are from Skopje, one from Prilep (73) and one from Veles (58).
According to the Covid-diagnosed fatality registry, three people died between March 16-19.
At the moment, 1,381 cases are active nationwide. Since the onset of the epidemic, North Macedonia has performed a total of 1,983,540 tests, recording 307,796 COVID-19 cases and 297,164 recoveries. The death toll has reached 9,251.
