Skopje, 11 August 2021 (MIA) – Crisis Management Centre (CMC) Director Stojanche Angelov met Wednesday afternoon with the US Ambassador to North Macedonia Kate Marie Byrnes. The goal of the meeting, as CMC posted on the Facebook profile, was to present the team from the US Forest Service, which in support of USAID's national efforts to combat forest fires, in the next two weeks will provide assistance to entities and the CMC at strategic and tactical level, but also activities for further cooperation will be planned. The US Ambassador Byrnes also had a meeting with the members of the Crisis Management HQ and she was briefed about the current situation and managing the fires, the post reads.
