Action against corruption in judiciary to begin Monday, PM says

Skopje, 29 November 2024 (MIA) - Prime Minister Hristijan Mickoski told journalists Friday that an action will be launched Monday aimed at dealing with corrupt prosecutors and judges. The PM said they won’t “degrade individuals and employ special police units” during the implementation of the action.

“Unlike how this was done in the past, I won’t speak in front of cameras or the media and employ special police units, degrade people and individuals etc. We have a plan; we will begin implementing this plan on Monday. We waited long enough, we gave them a chance, it was enough. Evidently the sudden attacks of diarrhea, cramps, headache, fever, anxiety etc., are too intense when the time comes for certain individual prosecutors to sign the final decree to carry out justice,” Mickoski said.

Премиерот Христијан Мицкоски го осуди сквернавењето на државното знаме вчера, очекува дека вакви случувања, чија цел се етнички тензии, ќе има и во иднина и апелираше до сите граѓани да остан

On several occasions in recent days, the Prime Minister has said he is disappointed by the behavior of individuals in the judiciary.

“Whenever we need to implement justice some prosecutor or judge has diarrhea, fever or anxiety,” Mickoski said in a statement two days ago, announcing the implementation of what he called a “robust action” to deal with “corrupt prosecutors and judges”.
