Skopje, 27 February 2026 (MIA) - Prime Minister Hristijan Mickoski met Friday with European Commissioner for Internal Affairs and Migration, Magnus Brunner, discussing the enhancement of bilateral cooperation, economic prospects and challenges in the region and Europe.

PM Mickoski and Commissioner Brunner reaffirmed the joint commitment to enhancing the bilateral partnership, strengthening the institutional dialogue, and stimulating stability and prosperity.

"We remain committed to building strong and sustainable relations based on mutual trust, respect and shared European values," Mickoski wrote in a Facebook post.

The meeting was also attended by EU Ambassador Michalis Rokas, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade Timcho Mucunski, Minister of Interior Panche Toshkovski and Deputy PM and Transport Minister Aleksandar Nikoloski.
