Skopje, 7 January 2025 (MIA) - SDSM leader Venko Filipche extended Christmas greetings to all citizens celebrating the holiday on Tuesday, in a media statement after attending the divine liturgy at the St. Clement of Ohrid church in Skopje.

Filipche stressed things are changing “dynamically and drastically” in the world and wished for a peaceful and safe year above all.

“In many places of the world there are ongoing wars, and in that sense, I wish for this year to be peaceful and safe above all. And here in our multicultural and multiethnic society, diverse as we are, I hope we can see our diversity as an advantage, as a benefit of democracy, and work together to make the country and society better, more peaceful, more just and a richer place for life,” Filipche said.
