Siljanovska Davkova receives credentials of newly appointed Peruvian Ambassador Olivares

Skopje, 3 April 2026 (MIA) — President Gordana Siljanovska Davkova received Friday the credentials of the newly appointed, Bucharest-based, Peruvian Ambassador Gloria del Carmen Olivares.


According to an official press release, Siljanovska Davkova noted that the two nations marked two decades of diplomatic ties based on mutual understanding and respect.


The president highlighted the potential for promoting cooperation in several sectors, including business, tourism, culture, education and science.

 

 

Ambassador Olivares said that despite the geographic distance, both countries share a commitment to democracy, human rights, the rule of law, peace and stability.


She pledged to focus on developing bilateral relations during her term in office, urging both nations to work together to realize their full potential for growth.


Siljanovska Davkova wished the ambassador success in her new role, the release said. mr/
