Minister Filkov calls for urgent sessions of Judicial Council, Council of Public Prosecutors over Grubi house arrest order
Justice Minister Igor Filkov on Tuesday called out all those involved in the house arrest order against former deputy prime minister Artan Grubi, pointing out that responsibility for such a decision must be clearly identified by name and surname. He called on the Judicial Council and the Council of Public Prosecutors to convene urgent sessions, look into this case and determine if there are grounds for holding the judge and the public prosecutor liable. He added that institutional control must function effectively and no one must be exempt from responsibility.
