Skopje, 6 June 2023 (MIA) - The government at its session on Tuesday appointed Zoran Trifunovski as the new director of the Railway Infrastructure Public Enterprise ‘Railways of the Republic of North Macedonia’ - Skopje.

Trifunovski replaces Hari Lokvenec, who resigned today. He resigned for personal reasons, he told MIA. Lokvenec was the director of the Railway Infrastructure Public Enterprise ‘Railways of the Republic of North Macedonia’ since November 2020.

“The government decided to recommend to the Management Board of the Railway Infrastructure Public Enterprise ‘Railways of the Republic of North Macedonia’, to dismiss Hari Lokvenec from the post director of the Railway Infrastructure Public Enterprise ‘Railways of the Republic of North Macedonia’ at his request. Zoran Trifunovski has been appointed acting director,” the government said in a press release.
