ZNAM to present platform for Macedonian unity and defining national red lines to all parliamentary parties Monday

Skopje, 15 December 2024 (MIA) - ZNAM Movement will officially present a National Platform for Macedonian National Unity and the definition of the country’s national red lines to all parliamentary political parties on Monday, said its president Maksim Dimitrievski at the ceremony marking the party's first anniversary on Sunday.

The purpose of this platform, he emphasized, is to unite all political stakeholders and establish a state position that ensures and guarantees a dignified path for Macedonia towards achieving its strategic goals – full EU membership. Dimitrievski concluded by saying that it’s time to bring Macedonia back to the principles of Krushevo, as outlined in the Manifesto.

“ZNAM proposes a platform for national unity, for building a strong, powerful, free, and European Macedonia where all citizens have equal rights and responsibilities towards future generations. It is a platform for peace, freedom, and true coexistence, because what we experience today, in a society where children are divided from kindergarten and primary school, is nothing more than a fiction, for a country that guarantees every citizen peace, the opportunity to grow, and a sense of dignity. I urge you to unite around our shared values, to continue on the European path with honor and dignity. Enough with the divisions, disputes, and lack of respect because Macedonia is all we have,” Dimitrievski said.

Dimitrievski sent a message to Prime Minister Hristijan Mickoski, who was present at the ceremony: a big task awaits us, and we at ZNAM are here to support this concept and will always support it when it is about a better future for the Macedonian people, the citizens of Macedonia, and our Macedonia.

ZNAM president also referred to the presidential campaign, when, as he recalled, he said a sentence that perhaps the time has come for Macedonia to reunite, as he put it, the partisans and the komiti, just as our ancestors did during World War II.
