Skopje, 28 September 2021 (MIA) – SDSM leader Zoran Zaev addressing Tuesday evening the rally in Skopje’s Ibni Pajko park said that the accomplishments in the capital are impressive, especially in the area of infrastructure, new boulevards and bridges, reconstructed streets and roads. The courage and vision of Petre Shilegov are the reason that Skopje today has characteristics of modern European city and is on the right path forward to the future, he added. According to Zaev, Shilegov is a favorite because the citizens recognize in him a responsible and dedicated mayor, who does not calculate with his rating when making decisions for the city. Besides Petre Shilegov who is running for Skopje mayor, the party also presents the best 45 candidates on the list of councilors. “Skopje does not deserve anything less than the best, and I am convinced that on October 17, Skopje will choose the best, in order to continue Skopje’s development,” Zaev added. He noted that over the past 4 years with dedicated and hard work, they have developed the country on international plan and they developed the municipalities. “We fulfilled the promises, while deciding our European future, we realized over 7,000 projects in all municipalities, projects that improve people’s quality of life. Over 2,000 projects were implemented in the city of Skopje and the municipalities in Skopje and therefore we will win,” Zaev said. He told the rally that citizens will support Petre Shilegov at October 17 local elections and the list of councilors, in order to maintain the continuity that guarantees new investments and development of the city.
