Zaev postpones his resignation, say SDSM sources
Skopje, 9 November 2021 (MIA) – Zoran Zaev will postpone his resignations both as Prime Minister and SDSM leader until the stabilization of the country, and one of the arguments for postponing the resignation is the possibility for North Macedonia to start EU accession negotiations in December. According to SDSM sources, the SDSM’s Executive and Central Boards at Tuesday’s evening meetings authorized Zaev to hold talks on increase of the parliamentary majority. Telma TV reported that regarding the resignation as the Prime Minister, Zaev will wait until Saturday, after the vote on a motion of no-confidence in the Government, but he was determined to submit his resignation. Member of the SDSM’s central leadership and Valandovo mayor Pero Kostadinov is set to make a statement after Central Board’s meeting.
