Zaev in Vinica: SDSM investing now and in the future
Vinica, 2 October 2021 (MIA) – SDSM is investing now and in the future and the best proof how things should be done is the Municipality of Vinica, SDSM leader Zoran Zaev told a rally Saturday.
Speaking to supporters in the town of Vinica, he presented projects calling them of importance for local development, which are also state-funded.
He pledged SDSM’s candidate for mayor if elected would put an end to illegal landfills in the eastern part of the country by constructing a regional landfill. “Water treatment station is being built to improve the quality of drinking water,” Zaev said adding that social residential buildings have been built, as well as one of the most modern farmers’ markets in the region.
In his speech, the ruling party leader also criticized VMRO-DPMNE of being against or blocking anti-crisis measures passed to ensure economic stability.
SDSM has nominated Ivica Dimitrov to seek a second term as mayor of Vinica in the coming local elections
One of the main priorities in Dimitrov’s campaign include environmental protection by dislocating the local landfill and completion of ongoing infrastructural projects.
In less than four years, Vinica has been visibly improved becoming a decent place for living, he told the rally.
“In the past four years we completed 200 projects and invested EUR 10 million to restore the trust of local residents,” Dimitrov said promoting the priorities of his second term.
Earlier today, SDSM leader Zaev campaigned in Delchevo in support of SDSM's mayoral candidate Goran Trajkovski.
