Skopje, 19 November 2021 (MIA) – Prime Minister and SDSM leader Zoran Zaev said after Friday’s meeting with Alternativa leader Afrim Gashi they discussed several aspects that would be contemplated by both parties over the weekend but also among partners in the Government coalition. “Our invitation is to have Alternativa in the Government. Our target is regular not early elections. Discussions will resume next week. We will inform the public as decisions come in,” said Zaev. We discussed, he added, on many important matters and we have to go back within our parties and also hold discussions with partners. “All of us, be it SDSM, DUI, or all other Government partners, we will all have to make concessions. Alternativa might eventually decide to join or not, as I was told at today’s meeting. However, decisions are taken by party bodies,” Zaev told reporters.
