Skopje, 8 December 2023 (MIA) — Parliament Speaker Talat Xhaferi sent his best wishes on Orthodox believers and the nation on the public holiday of St. Clement of Ohrid Day, celebrating the Ss. Cyril and Methodius' disciple and Ohrid Literary School founder.

"His character and work is the best example of the symbiosis between the spiritual and the enlightening mission, the best example of how to reach the hearts and minds of followers to lay solid foundations for creating lasting values that not only leave a significant legacy for future generations but also are a precious gift to the world's spiritual and educational heritage," Parliament Speaker Xhaferi wrote.

Urging the nation "to be dignified guardians of this heritage," Xhaferi also pointed out that spiritual and educational diversity "adorns our society and unites us as citizens of our common state, the Republic of North Macedonia." mr/
