Skopje, 28 August 2022 (MIA) — Parliament Speaker Talat Xhaferi sent his wishes of good health, spiritual peace, family happiness, warmth, mutual respect, understanding and harmony on the great Christian holiday of the Assumption of the Mother of God to all Orthodox believers in North Macedonia. “Difficult economic and energy challenges are ahead of us,” Xhaferi added. Pointing out there were numerous political challenges as well, he said he hoped the government would find the best solutions to overcome the crisis. “May we all find inner strength and perseverance, adapt to the new discourses and contribute to the easier overcoming of future challenges. “Faith teaches us to nurture positive values, and holidays highlight them even more, so may this holiday's spirit and message of humanity and understanding prevail over all of you celebrating this great holiday,” Xhaferi wrote. mr/
