Skopje, 30 May 2023 (MIA) — Parliament Speaker Talat Xhaferi met Tuesday with the newly appointed Ambassador of Kuwait to North Macedonia, Ghazi Hamed Al-Fadhli.

According to an official press release, Xhaferi noted that opening resident embassies in both countries would intensify contacts at all levels as would forming cooperation groups in both parliaments. 

Ambassador Al-Fadhli said his time in office would be dedicated to improving mutual relations in all fields, especially economic cooperation. Toward this aim, he said, he would also meet with members of the business community.

The parliament speaker and the ambassador both agreed that cooperation in the field of tourism would benefit both countries. mr/
