Baku, 4 April 2024 (MIA) - The women's national handball team has qualified for this year's European Championships after convincingly beating Azerbaijan 37:22 on Wednesday and securing second spot in the qualifying group.
In the group's other match, Spain beat Lithuania 34:20 and continued its unbeaten streak. In the standings, Spain has the maximum 10 points, followed by North Macedonia with 6, while Lithuania and Azerbaijan have 2 each with one round of matches remaining.
The European Championships will take place in Austria, Switzerland and Hungary between November 28 and December 15.
