Washington, 9 November 2023 (dpa/MIA) - Israel has agreed to implement four-hour "pauses" of military operations each day in northern Gaza, the White House said on Thursday.

The pauses will be announced three hours in advance of their start, White House National Security Council spokesman John Kirby said.

Kirby said this will allow for humanitarian aid to get into Gaza and help civilians get out of harm's way.
