Week-long COVID-19 screening at various locations in Skopje, nationwide testing to follow
Skopje, 14 February 2022 (MIA) – Random COVID-19 screening that is set to show the citizens’ immunity will take place at various locations in Skopje over the course of the week, said assistant doctor Teodora Brnjarchevska from the Institute on Immunobiology and Human Genetics within the Skopje-based Faculty of Medicine on Monday.
“We are not disclosing the locations in order to come across random passers-by, who will be asked to give a sample for the purpose of assessing the epidemiological situation in Skopje, i.e. immunity acquired through vaccination or recovery. We will also do this across the country in cooperation with the public health centers and transfusiology services,” said Brnjarchevska.
The screening will encompass about 1,000 Skopje citizens and 2,000-3,000 people nationwide.
