Skopje, 12 January 2025 (MIA) — Cloudy and cold with snow everywhere across the country. The snowfall will be particularly heavy in western parts (reaching over 40 l/m2), the national weather service said.

The snow cover will be heaviest in the mountains (over 50 cm).

Southwestern parts are also likely to see copious amounts of snow (over 20 cm).

Also expect strong wind from the north, deep snow drfts, and icy roads.

Currently, Popova Shapka has the heaviest snow cover (52 cm). 

Lows will range from -4°C to 3°C and highs from -3°C to 4°C.
