We need to work to earn voters’ trust, Mickoski tells Tetovo rally
Tetovo, 2 October 2021 (MIA) – Joint patriotism in the 21st century means to create joint future, to understand each other and to show voters that we have to win their trust, VMRO-DPMNE leader Hristijan Mickoski said Saturday in Tetovo. VMRO-DPMNE endorses Vulent Murseli, the candidate nominated by the Alliance for Albanians to be the next mayor of Tetovo. “People have always understood each other, in the past, now and in the future. We extend our support to one man, future Tetovo mayor Vulnet, who will unite Macedonians, Albanians, Turks, Roma, Serbs and other ethnic communities in a modern Tetovo,” Mickoski told supporters. The rally was also addressed by Angel Karapetrov, who runs for municipal councilor. Tetovo, he said, can have a new future with projects and programs. “In the past four years, nothing was done, issues mounted regarding traffic congestion, education, waste,” he said adding that VMRO-DPMNE has projects to improve conditions in the municipality, including reconstruction of the water supply network, new water reservoirs, waste treatment projects and plans to improve air quality in Tetovo. VMRO-DPMNE has also held a rally in Gostivar as part of its campaign for the October 17 local elections.
